Think of any long-gone deity from mythology. Imagine they once truly existed. The old deities once existed, once walked the Earth, and mortals trembled at their names. Long ago, they each slowly faded out, their existance only remembered as fables and tales. During this decline, one deity gathered up and called upon his or her last reserves of power and influence to create a reprieve, of sorts, for them all. They would find their essence, their souls if you will, not dissipated amongst the matter of the Universe but instead reborn inside a mortal body. They would be mortal, yes, their power would be greatly diminished, yes, and they might not even remember what they once were, but they would at least exist.

In times of intense turmoil and strife, life does what it can to survive. It does what it needs to to thrive, even when the changes that must be made are buried deep within the genes. Evolution. Sometimes it comes in baby steps, sometimes in giant leaps and bounds. Sometimes all it takes is one slight shift, and the change appears. This change is called mutation.
The jump in human evolution that takes place in the early twenty-first century, is a mutation which causes enhancements in the known human condition. With some the change is known from birth, but it takes time in others to develop. The enhancements are unknown to most of the human population, and for most of those who share such a condition, are secrets best kept hidden.
There is an apartment complex in Las Vegas, Nevada, whose occupants are specimens of this new generation of evolved humans. Most of them are hiding their special adaptations. Some have been living in their current apartments for a while now, and some are recent arrivals.
It is unclear as to the motives of fate. The reasons for this specific group of people to be brought together at this specific time in this specific place are unknown. The only thing that is perfectly clear is that every character is a piece that interlocks with others, to make an amazing picture. Where do you fit into the puzzle?

what would you do if you could change history?
We all sit in our history classes through out our school age years listening to the teacher drone on about fact after fact. There's no connection, no excitement in most cases, and you only force yourself to remember what could possibly show up on a test in the future. These people are dead and gone and besides being able to learn from our past mistakes, there's no real benefit of learning about them. Some kids sleep through it, some kids zone, and a rare few are captivated, yet still have no real meaningful love for the historical figures they are learning about.
So what would you do if you were forced to live amongst them and your very presence could change the entire course of events that you know are about to unfold?
Set in the backdrop of Showtime's hit series The Tudors, Court of England is a multifandom game that likes to take a twist on the facts. Each person wakes up within the city of London's limits whether it be in the castle, an inn, on the streets, or a random bed of some home they've never been to. Still dressed in their 20th century clothing, they stick out like a sore thumb, and many are quick to think of an excuse; "We're from the New World." Pulled into the peak of Anne Boleyn's marriage to Henry, the very words anyone utters to the King or Queen could possibly change the world - and maybe even save the unfortunate events of the infamous King Henry VIII rule.
Sometimes you just want to change reality.

I'm looking for fellow 30 Seconds to Mars rp'ers who are interested in starting a PSL community with the band. It would be for the band only. Journals would be kept by each of the guys and both AIM, threading and posting of logs would take place. I am open to discussing these as I realize not all people are comfortable with posting logs or even threading. However, AIM will be required.
Here's the deal...
I'm looking for mature rp'ers only. If you're not 28 or older don't bother inquiring. I'm open to discussing plots and idea's. However, all players must be open to Letocest. Yes, that's Shannon and Jared being together. I'm open to darker and lighter themes/plots.
Those interested must have the time and be active. Don't be a flake. It's very annoying.
