Off the rocky coast of Maine lays a town unlike any other. Some people say the place is cursed. That there's something buried deep within the bones of it, something dark and sinister. With it's failing economy, one that thrives off the private prison industry, it's difficult to see exactly why anyone would want to stay there. But Castle Rock has a way of digging its claws into a person's heart and freezing it there, like a parasite infecting a host.

Castle Rock is an anthology role-play game on insanejournal. The first plot, or "season", will revolve around IT meets DREAMCATCHER. There will be a core group of friends, with spots open for family, friends, town citizens, and more. Once the season is over, a new main plot will be devised and writers will have a chance to either keep, or revamp their characters. The setting will always be Castle Rock and the plot will always be Stephen King based.
