Obscurums takes place in the small town of L'enfer Rouge. The name stands for "the red hell," probably for the hot summers or perhaps the mysterious and supernatural things which go on around that town. L'enfer Rouge is well known by paranormal enthusiasts because it is such a paranormal hotspot. Cult activity, animal mutilations, weird questionable creatures seen in the forests and around the swamps. The rumor of vampires, witches, and demons -- it all adds to the mysterious allure that is the red hell.


The supernatural world, despite how unknown it was among most naive mortals, was, for the longest time, at peace. species never bothered other species, and mostly, they kept to themselves. Unfortunately, peace can only be kept for so long, until one small crack causes their walls to come tumbling down. Recently, a body had been found by the bayous, and though a murder isn't something that might normally shake up the supernatural world as much as this one did, it seems as though this murder was different.
