Welcome to RPG-Connect! This community was designed as the middle ground for rpg advertising communities on insanejournal. When I was browsing IJ, I came across two types of ad communities: the over-restricted and the under-restricted. To me, most of the communities had lost it's personal touch with the roleplaying world. Here at RPG-Connect, our goal is to help quality players and games find one another. Are you looking for a home to place your character or find a person to fill your roleplaying needs? Do you want your game ad to reach the right kind of people? Look no further because you'll find that here.

Is This The End?
A Zombie Apocalypse Role Play

GAME OPENS: MARCH 16TH, 2016

In the wee hours of December 26th, 2015 the campus of Belmont University is put on lockdown. Most of the students were home for winter break, but the rest of the diluted population was rounded up, asked to pack a bag, and to bring their mattresses to the food court. The doors were chained shut behind them. What was left of the university staff asked the students locked inside to remain calm, but didn’t offer much of an explanation as to why they were not allowed to leave.

Then the calls and texts started coming in. Frantic parents, siblings, and friends all saying the same thing: something was happening. The people who had been getting sick, the flu that was going around, it was killing people. But those people? They weren’t staying dead. Hours after their pulses seemingly stopped, they would wake up. With slow, lethargic jerks they would begin to move.

At first, the doctors thought it was a miracle. It soon became apparent that it was anything but. By the time they realized that those coming back to life weren’t actually doing so, that they were changed, it was too late. They were already attacking others, already spreading the virus. Those who were bit suffered less; the sickness overtook them within hours.

Belmont University and the small town it was located by was secluded, so those who called their loved ones at the university begged them to stay put. Some asked them to wait it out, while others promised to come get them.

This is where the game begins.
