Tolkien Halloween, 1981, the Dark Lord Voldemort fell at the hands of one-year old Harry Potter, bringing an end to a decade long reign of terror, to the relief of the entire Wizarding World. Death Eaters were imprisoned, wounds healed, and the Wizarding World spent the next decade healing from the pain of the first war. Yet, Voldemort was not truly defeated that night. He will rise once more, bringing upon another viscous war upon the Wizarding World. Everyone knows the story of Harry Potter, but until now, the story of what happened in between has been unknown. It is 1990, the year before Harry Potter will discover he is a Wizard. Professor Quirrell is off to Albania where he will become a vessel for the weakened Dark Lord, Charlie Weasley and his friends are in their sixth-year at Hogwarts, and the foundation for the future is being paved. They are at a crossroads, the road behind them broken and wilting. The road ahead lies a mystery, which paths will they chose? Who will they become? Only one thing is certain; they must continue on. Erased: Where Cartoons Meet Reality! [26 May 2009|01:13pm]     It started with Pixar. While Woody felt himself being replaced by a shiny, new Rocketman, the two dimensional cartoon world saw the beginning of what would be their end. Some cartoons had already slipped into a comfortable retirement, but most saw the death of their own genre as the three dimensional world took over. But, instead of being erased from pop culture history, the old world entered the new. Broke through it, in fact.     Roger Rabbit was the first to leave Toontown. He had always been known for having one foot in the door and one out, but better for being completely obsolete as soon as his movie ended. One morning he woke up in the real life body of Roger Baxter, an up and coming television star. The two Rogers were forced to make sense of each other, exist in the same body and help other cartoons that were jumping off the page into the streets of Los Angeles.     This is Erased. [26 May 2009|06:17pm] SIT-COMICAL: as seen on tv In a suburban community in a nameless city in a nameless state, people wake up every morning with their hair perfectly combed. They sometimes drink from empty cups. They deliver witty one-liners. Every problem they ever have can be resolved in 30 minutes, or in a very special one-hour episode. Everyone who lives in this community is a sit-com character reborn. They are not aware of this, of course. There is no laugh track playing in the background of their days, no mood music and no set lighting. For these people, the world around them, their neighbors, and their selves are as real as anything. But we know better. We have seen them in prime time. We'd know them anywhere. Sit-Comical is an RPG where you reinvent a sit-com character and place him or her in this unusual, but mostly reality-based suburban world. All human, non-magical characters are welcome, and though you must stick to the essence of the original sit-com character, much of these characters will become your own creation.
