Jurisdiction LAPD (Homicide Special Section)
Circumstances MAY 25, 10:02 A.M. Mr. Wilson Barnaby reports shooing away a hyena in the backyard toying with what appeared to be a severed human foot, later confirmed by Dr. Gerald Peterson, M.E. The limb was subsequently examined and identified as having been severed post-mortem.
Primary Crime Scene A warehouse in the brownfield district, scheduled to have been a filming location for an upcoming episode of 'Zero Hour' (see below).
Secondary Crime Scene Local hiking trail.
Victim Victor Hibbert. 27. Male. Discovered approximately 48 - 72 hours since T.O.D. Former stunt double to Gillean Morris, star of 'Zero Hour,' a popular action/drama television series about a government agent. Initially misidentified as Gillean Morris, who has since been reported missing. Body was found unclothed.
C.O.D. Epidural hematoma, accompanied by defenestration leading to severe contusions, lacerations and penetration by shattered glass pieces. Also present are abrasions made by branches from a subset of elm trees unique to the region of the primary crime scene.

Primary Suspects
Gillean Morris. Star of 'Zero Hour' who was allegedly involved in a bitter altercation with the victim around the time of death. The reason for altercation remains largely the domain of public speculation. Popular theory holds that Melissa Travers, his female co-star, was romantically involved with both Morris and the victim, though this has never been confirmed. The victim was fired by the studio two days subsequent to the incident. Morris himself has gone missing under suspicious circumstances.
Miles Hibbert. The victim's older brother who inherited the deceased's modest fortune.
Molly Weatherby. The victim's ex-girlfriend from college days. Records show that the victim had filed a restraining order against her--but she also had one against him.
Unidentified Female. Friends and neighbours claim the victim had been 'seeing someone,' though no one seems to have any further leads to offer.
Brian Miller. A dubiously amoral transient who pilfered the deceased's rather high end clothes.
