It couldn't be, of course. That person isn't even real and dreams are just dreams, right? Or, maybe not. A series of people, all around the world, are experiencing that very thing and, as it turns out, there's much more to it than it being just a dream. Those people are all reincarnations of fictional characters - imaginary people from literature, mythology, nursery rhymes, fairy tales, etc. They don't have conscious memories of their past lives, but, boy, do they dream about them. Some of them even have special abilities related to their former selves. The dreams can be good or bad, but the one thing they all are is vivid. The terror it inspired ... you have no idea, you’re too young. Just picture coming home and finding the Dark Mark hovering over your house, and knowing what you’re about to find inside.... Everyone’s worst fear ... the very worst." ( It’s 1979. James, Sirius, Remus and Peter have been out of school for over a year and things are looking grim. Lord Voldemort has risen to power, and people are dying every day. Dumbledore has formed the Order of the Phoenix, an elite group of Aurors and civilians who are fighting against Voldemort and his terrors. They’re struggling to find ways to bring him and his evil to an end and bring justice to those who have hurt, tortured and even killed serving him and his evil ways. There's a small light in the darkness. Two weddings have come to pass in the last year. Lily and James, and Frank and Alice are living happily as husband and wife. [27 May 2009|07:12pm] Background In the ancient days, the gods relied on Seers to prophesize their next move, and foresee any dangers that faced the supernatural deities. These Seers would band together and hold rituals to See what lay ahead for all beings; man, god, and other alike. Nearly 12,000 years ago, the Seers saw something that frightened the gods so much that they took drastic measure. They held a counsel and decided that, to save themselves, they would do the unthinkable. Combining their powers, the sent all supernatural beings to the continent of Atlantis. To keep balance in the world, the gods did not destroy the island. Instead, they sent it to another realm, where they would be safe from what the Seers had predicted - the downfall of the gods by the extraordinary... by the supernatural. Premise For thousands and thousands of years, the supernatural (as well as the unfortunate humans) have lived on the continent and have reached a point of peace and prosperity. Charing Cross: Post-DH Harry Potter Game [27 May 2009|09:27pm] Charing Cross It's 2003, the Wizarding World has come a long way since the Final Battle. Death Eaters have been tried and dealt with fairly under the watchful eye of the new Minister of Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt and a reformed Wizengamot. Diagon Alley and Hogwarts have been rebuilt. Slowly the magical community has rebuilt and healed from the destruction of Voldemort's reign. Charing Cross is a game that explores the social and professional lives of our favorite Harry Potter Characters as they live their lives in this new rebuilt society. The main action takes place in and around Diagon Alley, which is much more than the one-street world we saw in canon. In the past five years Diagon Alley has become not only the Magical Center of London, but of all of Britain.
