Your Song is a present day RPG that takes place at the fictional Presley School for the Performing Arts in Yonkers, New York, just outside of New York City.

Students must audition for a specialty (dance, music, art, technical theatre, drama) to obtain a coveted spot at this prestigious academy.

All characters in the game are based on famous songs!

Characters are in their junior and senior years of high school, and must be pursuing some career in the arts.

So why don't you tell everybody that this is your song by placing a hold today?

MANY songs are still available, and almost any song by any artist will be allowed as long as you can create a character that is in the essence of the original song.

What will you imagine?

Hallowed Ground is a game for writers, for creative spirits, for people who can see the stories yet untold. We work within the canon of Deathly Hallows, expanding the scope of the war far past the canvas walls of the Trio's tent and into Hogwarts, Shell Cottage, Malfoy Manor, Diagon Alley and beyond. We accept applications for any character mentioned in canon who is known to be alive, and encourage insightful takes on both characters we already know and particularly ones we've barely met. Everyone has a story to tell, memories in the making, and they're happening on Hallowed Ground.

We are community driven, with lots of player input and assistance. Founding moderators rotate with elected Player moderators, preventing power trips and encouraging player participation while still providing the necessary assistance and guidance to make a game run smoothly. Two levels of activity allow for whatever commitment you're able to make to the game. In short, we are a respectful, laid-back, friendly group of writers having a little fun in our free time, and we would love to have others seeking the same join us.

The power of belief is stronger than anyone could ever imagine, it is more like a force of nature than anything, something real and almost tangible. What gives Belief this power? Humans. What they believe in the most, what holds sway over their heart and soul is who is in favour, who holds the world in the palm of their hand. When the belief in God and his Light is strong then the world is held in his favour, but as soon as that belief is questioned then His grasp looosens and Darkness begins to enter.

For thousands of years the Gods of light have held their own against the darkness, winning the eternal battle which rages. However in the past three hundreds year that light has begun to slip, darkness has snuck in over the land, stealing into the hearts of the mortals and taking the place of their belief in the divine. Forcing them to question how God could do this to them. It is because of that questioning, doubting their faith in Him, that Darkness was given the chance to rule, to take over His place. They didn't dally, didn't wait. They were ready and they struck like vipers.

With darkness came sin; violence, hatred, greed, lust. The acts of the Humans deteriorated into vile deeds which tore apart the World and the belief system which had reigned for so long. It was at this point, some two hundred years ago, that some exceptionally power beings of darkness realised what they could see; a dark age.

An age where darkness ruled the mortal realm, colliding with Hell as heaven was finally eradicated.

What we are looking for;
» Dedicated, creative, self-motivated players who are willing to push boundaries.
» Due to the nature of CoS we would like to see some strong characters. Characters who will force others to take action.
» At CoS your hand will not be held through plot and it is expected of you to push your character forward regarding plot.
» Players who enjoy a dark setting and like to push limitations and themselves.
