Little did they know that the Fourth Hallow was with them all along. When Hugo Weasley first left for Hogwarts, he had been given a present that his father hadn't received until his seventh birthday. It looked like an ordinary watch. There was nothing spectacular about it and it had been in the Weasley family for ages. The boys were outside near the Great Lake, Hugo swinging the watch idly in his hand when his cousin Roxanne (or Roxy as he thought of her) set off one of her father's latest inventions on the boys. In Hugo's attempt to get away from the billowing and smelly smoke, the watch struck rock and popped open for the first time in centuries. There was a rip in time and space; a tesseract. The Lowdown: In this game not only can you play the epilogue children and acid babies from JK Rowlings notes and interviews, but also any character who may have died during the books. The children are sent back in time to the year 2000 and become stuck there with their parents even though their parents are of the same age. The Tesseract causes the dead to come back to life and no one knows how to stop it. Jumble that up with a release of prisoners from Azkaban and you have holy plot batman. Just think; a world with Gellert Grindelwald or Tom Riddle! The possibilities are endless. So they have existed, living with the humans, some even evolving to match the modern world but their world was not always peaceful. In all the major cities throughout the world, various species battle for control. The wolves own New York and London, the cats own Cairo and Los Angeles, the witches rule Dublin, Boston, Brighton, Salem. Yet, it is the vampire clans that hold the most power in the world, running major cities such as Tokyo, Hong Kong, Toronto, Berlin, Paris, and San Francisco to name a few. Openning Jan. 9th [08 Jan 2008|08:35am] The world was as it was a place where the balance of good and evil was always being swayed. Individuals known to have amazing strengths were always exulted for their never ending battle against those that never stopped causing havoc on the face of the earth. They were referred to as heroes. Unfortunately, just as there were those who looked upon the heroes in exultation, there were those who considered them a plague who only infested the world with more evil. It was them who began experimentations and highly classified projects in weaponry to take the duty of bringing justice to the world back. Whether it was them who struck first or the latter, parallel universes began to merge into. People, places, and even justice itself seemed to have taken a tip down a hill. Through all this chaos everyone began to loose hope as new villains began to take over the streets and the undergrounds. No one could stop the end from coming but them. Heroes from both dimensions began to sprout out realizing what had occurred. Although they were dispersed in different places they all held the same goal: stop evil on its tracks. Many looked upon each other as enemies or rivals. Some were called ‘The Justice League’ while others called themselves the ‘Avengers’. Differences and conflicts between heroes were giving the villains more time to recuperate. That's what this game is about. Six small town teenagers, aged between 16 and 18 who've known each other since they were in diapers. There is no convention in this relationship, however. They didn't become friends by accident, they were the kids who needed something no kid should need. For whatever reasons, they were drawn together in search of a family. At first it was a need easily satisfied by school yard friendship, though as they entered their teens, lines blurred. They were inseparable. Who was caught in the prefects' bathroom by Mr Pringle and exactly what detention did they get? There are parties, and Quidditch matches, and many other things aside. Except 1974 is no ordinary school year. On September the 1st, the train was waylaid on the way to Platform Nine and Three Quarters. The muggleborn students found that the platform itself was blocked off; no entry. Those who got to the train discovered the absence of their friends as soon as the train pulled out of the station. Thank goodness for little devices, cooked up by the Prewett twins and distributed at large. Those claiming responsibility? 'Society for the Protection of Magic'. They even have leaflets. Hold onto your hats, boys and girls. We are focused on relationship and adult themes. The year is 2001 and Voldemort has been dead for a long time. Peace has filled the land! Conflicts have not however, disappeared. Romance and love has ensued and so has disagreements and strong dislike for one another. Relationships are being formed and life is still difficult, if not in the same way as it was during the war. Some friendships and relationships are flourishing while some look awful. Some are just forming and some are purely for the sake of pleasure. There are good guys and bad guys and strong personalities are effecting everyone around them. People are in love as well as jealous and people are starting to use and lie to others when needed. Love isn't all sunshine and daisies. The game welcomes in character drama. Character plots and development as well as writing what you want for fun is a reason for this game. We like canon relationships, and canon facts are valid from books 1-7. Characters are still dealing with losses during the war as well as dramatic changing. Six short weeks after testing the vaccine on human patients, things started to go wrong. It was discovered too late that the virus had mutated without warning. Two months after the virus was discovered, it made the jump from direct physical contact to airborne transmission. The jump occurred before the government could catch it and Manhattan became ground zero for the biggest disaster to hit mankind, even outshining the Black Plague. Ninety-nine percent of the population was infected, 90% of all those coming into contact with the virus immediately bled out and died. The other nine percent, the Anomalies, reacted differently. The developed cannibalistic tendencies, extreme violence and aggression, and an inability to go out into the light. As more and more became infected and survived, they began feeding on the remaining one percent of the population, the small amount of those who were immune to either strand of the virus. A few changes have been made to the staff over the summer, the most noticeable being the new Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor; A Mr. Tom Marvolo Riddle. His new post is widely questioned by the wizarding world; The man has been convicted of murders throughout the seventies, why would Dumbledore hire him to teach young children? Dumbledore simply plays it off saying that he has applied "twice before". That he has not been able to be convicted of anything. Mr. Riddle has, after all, been studying abroad since the 1980's, and is very knowledgeable on his subject.
