question: layouts

custom comm layout :: tag list?
It's been a long time since I played around with custom layouts and I truly do forget how to do this -- but is it possible for me to carry over the community layout onto the tag page/list? It's an S1 Generator layout.

	Sadly, nope! S1 can't have a styled tag page. It's one of the many banes of our existences where special generator layouts are concerned. (Reply to this) (Thread)

One work around that me and a friend found that might help you - instead of using tags, what we did for one of my journals was to put like.... all the applications on one specific calendar day, all the writing samples on another one, etc. Then we linked to the calendar day in question in the link instead of using a tag link.

It requires some journal re-arranging but it's worked great for me!

	You know, I went ahead and looked the code for that over and then shared it with another coding friend, and we're going to have to figure out how they did this. I've literally never seen anyone pull this off, so yeah - that's some kind of ij code sorcery there. Thanks for bringing it to my attention! But I have no idea how they did that. I'll have to tinker.
