I want to know more than I do right now about the personal relationships and liaisons of the Avengers. Friends, lovers, confidants. Tell me what you know.

Winning against players with a handicap is sadly not as exciting as I had hoped.

I do not believe in fate, or in the prophecies that claim to bind the lives of men. I believe in reality, in what happens in the course of a life and how events will bend it this way and that. Some of that is choice, and some is circumstance. Not everything that brought you here today was based on choices. Circumstances present themselves which cannot be avoided, and opportunities arise for one man which another will never know.

I believe I had no choice, imprisoned in Stark's tower, and no one one which I could rely but myself. I believe there is no future in which I would have been set free on 'good behavior'. I could fill an ocean of good deeds and still not have done enough. Wicked or good, someone will always bay for my head.

I didn't say we all are offered the same choices—whatever your narrow definition is. Circumstances we can't change, no, but we operate within them and we still have the power to choose how we do that.

You whine too much. Maybe you should try "good behavior" first.

When someone calls you an idealist, I imagine you must take a great deal of pride in the title.

I am much too weary of you all to whine. I was merely offering a counterpoint.

Of course I do, as much as you do when someone offers 'cynic.'

Call it whatever you want.
