[After retrieving the poor cow and securing her safe in his dorm room with appropriate food and far away from the disturbing devices of bored college students and their knives (though he leaves the knife taped to the wall...):]

That is not funny.

It would be difficult to. The elevator is better suited.

Is the elevator big enough?

[-tt-] I don't know. Nor does it matter. I'll find a different way.

Barring the stairs or the elevator, I think the next step is cutting a hole in the building and getting a crane to lift her out.

Yes. I'll figure it out. There are precedents.

Okay.

[...] You don't have to figure it out by yourself, you know.

Do you own a crane?

No, but I could find some metal sheeting to turn the stairs into a makeshift ramp. That could help more.

It needs traction and the degree is still too steep to be wholly safe.

Rubber shower sticker things for traction, but there's not much I can do to change the angle when the landing is so short.

[...] I could call around for a crane? If you open up a wall.

If we planed the grade, we would run out of vertical space. [Hm.] I can open up a wall.

Right. [She's looking up crane rentals.] I think [...] could we get her on the roof instead? Then a wall wouldn't haven't to be knocked down and rebuilt.

I can get a 70 ton truck crane here in an hour. So the guy says. He laughed when I said it was about a cow.

I need to meet him out front to get the harness net thing when he gets here, but he's on his way. Is she going upstairs?
