They forgot it.
For the longest time, we all forgot it...
On June 1, 2010 a mysterious object spiraled toward New Orleans, Louisiana. At first, it was believed to be a meteor, but upon its landing in the bayou, it was revealed to be something entirely different. Something impossible. Otherworldly. Fragments of a long forgotten machine that defied all logic. Scientists were baffled.
The mysterious machine triggered the rebirth of magic & with that came the changes. Normal human beings began to sprout wings, set things on fire with thoughts alone, crave blood. Chaos erupted & everything changed in the blink of an eye.
Can you remember it? Will you?

Hello! I recently joined a group PSL ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) thevampdiaries with Jenna Sommers. Jenna is seriously in need of some of the adults around. So far most the kids have been cast, and well she could use some people closer to her age to talk to!
The group has a great start with some awesome people and great characters… However we could really use Alaric Saltzmann, Matt Donovan, John Gilbert, Logan ScumFell and more! The game is based on the TV series right after the 3rd Episode, so everyone is alive (well Mr. Tanner isn't) and ready for playing!
The game isn't sticking to exactly what happened in the show, we're taking it AU, so Alaric and John are welcome to pop up right away showing up a lot earlier - which would be really fun and interesting. In the month of October, 1981, the man called Lord Voldemort had a dream. A vision of his own death. More afraid of his own mortality than he had ever been he found a way to kill the boy Harry Potter without ever setting foot in Godric’s Hollow. And it worked. Seventeen years later, Great Britain lives in fear under the fierce rule of Lord Voldemort and his Minister for Magic, Peter Pettigrew. Pureblood and Halfblood young men and women must attend the Slytherin Academy between age sixteen and twenty one. If they or their parents resist, they, along with their Muggleborn yearmates, will be taken by force and made to work as servants in the castle.
It's 1999, and outside of the Academy, those who oppose Voldemort are gathering. The Outsiders. But how long will this new resistance last, when Lord Voldemort has eyes everywhere?

On 10 June 1978, the man known as Lord Voldemort conquered the Wizarding World and named himself Minister for Magic of England. The Order of the Phoenix went underground to continue the fight, but they knew it was over.
Ten years later, it is June 1988, and the world has changed. Wizards now bear tattoos on the back of their necks ranking them from I to VII based on blood purity. No Muggleborn is allowed at Hogwarts, marriage is strictly monitored, and anyone who gets in the Ministry's way receives a one-way ticket to the grave.
With each day that passes, life gets worse, and the witches and wizards with the courage to fight are regathering. In the past ten years, countless lives have been lost, and the time for action is now.

Haven’t you ever wished for a second chance in life? Wished for a chance to start over, a chance to get away from the problems in your life? If so, Fortune city is the place for you! A sprawling metropolis, Fortune city gives everyone a second chance. All you need do is wish for it.
Incidentally, wishing is how people tend to arrive in Fortune City. You could be going about your everyday business when you idly wish for a change or you could be running for your life and wishing for a way to escape, it doesn’t matter. As quickly as the thought enters your head, you could find yourself wandering the streets of Fortune City.
Getting here is easy. Leaving is another story.
Don’t worry though, the city will take care of you. The city understands how confusing it can be to arrive somewhere new without any clue as to how you got there. That’s why when you arrive you’re given an information packet that not only tells you why you’re here but also where you’ll live and even provides you with a credit card & a phone. The city just wants to make sure you’re happy during your stay. After all, the city needs you.
