Privacy was non existent in the army: close quaters and few walls with your squad, and it seemed that every one of her superior officers had her file in some way or another. Sonya had long since become used to such things, but when she wanted alone time, it made things rather difficult. Atleast at the resort, there were some areas where she could get a certain amount of privacy, but it was sacrificed because many of the guests seemed to know a lot about her, things not even her superior officers knew, about Mortal Kombat, Outworld, and even her idea of how to protect Earthrealm from invasion ( the Outerworld Investigation Agency-it did have a military ring to it). Sonya put up with them, even posing with a few for pictures, but now she had a free morning, and she just wanted to get away from the verbal probing and the pictures.
The beach near the cabins was a nice place to catch some air, and even though it was cold Sonya felt nice enough in a heavy coat and hat. She tried to remind herself that while the guests could be demanding, they were friendly enough and she wasn't chained up like in Outworld, and it was part of her pay so it wasn't all bad.still, it made her miss the army with its anonymity even more. She still hoped that if she saved up enough, she could buy a place out of here.
