With the World Cup just around the corner, it’s finally the night everyone’s been waiting for! Nervous waits are coming to an end as IAQ hosts a swanky event open only to players and team staff (and their plus ones) to announce all four UK teams that will be heading Down Under in the new year.
A gourmet dinner and entertainment from the Weird Sisters begins proceedings, and the announcements are littered throughout the evening. Team members and support teams are announced, and characters with dual citizenship may have been chosen for either of their countries. Formal dress is required, and a small press corps will cover arrivals and general proceedings. A press release will be issued at the end of the night publically announcing the teams.
Josephine Marat, as representative for the International Association of Quidditch, will be called upon to announce the players and staff representing non-UK teams as they have not been able to attend similar events in their home countries. The evening will be hosted by none other than Head of DoMGaS, Ludo Bagman. |
Actual announcements will be spaced out to allow time to play and react.
