Gradiva Fics.
Loooooooong time no retread. Hi fandom!

I've been strolling down Memory Lane recently, trying to organise my fic bookmarks and the gazillions of fics I have saved on my computer, and today I've been re-reading fics by gradiva, one of my all-time favourite writers. So I thought I'd dust off my Retread badge and share the love. Her writing style is so beautiful, her descriptions so vivid.

	I while back I read a fic of hers and couldn't get into it, so I never bothered reading any of her other stuff. But I absolutely loved Shadows, and am looking forward to reading some of these others. Thanks! :-) (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Shadows is gorgeous! And one day, in a rush of panic, you realize, he doesn't say it anymore. He hasn't said it since he came back. And now it's all important to you that he say it, because if neither of you can say it, then it may no longer be true, and then there would be nothing left to hold you together. 	She's a really good writer, but I find I can't cope with "open canon" fics much these days. Then again, you know me... I can find something wrong with every fic, can't I? ;) (Reply to this) (Thread)

Lol, yes you can! You know, I never used to, and it's still not a huge thing for me, but on reading these this time I did notice that I couldn't really buy the "open canon" thing as much anymore. I mean, I still enjoy the beauty of the writing but I find it harder and harder to buy it, you know? Shadows used to be my fave fic back in the days after 314 but now knowing what happened later in canon, I still love it but don't believe it so much.
