“The candlelight is very romantic,” Justin sighed huskily, sated and well-loved.
“It’s a fucking blackout,” Brian, ever the pragmatist, replied. He refused to admit to having a romantic bone in his body even while his hands traced over his lover as if the flesh beneath his fingertips was as delicate as fine, translucent porcelain.
“You have no soul,” Justin gently complained. He brought his hand up to touch Brian’s face illuminated by the flickering sepia shadows. To Justin’s eyes he had the look of a renaissance portrait glazed by yellowing varnish and still - and always - immortally, eternally, beautiful. |
