Brian waits until it’s too late to get a flight then almost turns back three times during the drive.
He’s spent the last week ignoring Justin’s moodiness and blaming incompetent employees for his own perpetual bad mood.
Until Michael gets fed up, demanding “Why are you even here?”
“Where else would I be?”
Michael glares at him, arms crossed, waiting.
“You can’t have an anniversary for a wedding that never happened,” Brian spits out before storming off.
He’s sure it’s a mistake; until Justin opens the door, his smile telling Brian what he already knows. This is where he belongs. |

“Brian, go outside.”
“Why?”
