He couldn’t listen, couldn’t stand to hear them call him a criminal, to say what he did was a crime. He’d failed before, at his sentencing, listening to them and getting angry. Fucking judge had told him to control himself and sent him to prison. He didn’t belong there; he wasn’t going back. Craig repeated it like a mantra. After today he would be free. He just had to stay calm, pretend to be sorry, just like the man said, and this would all be over. He would finish it today. link 4 comments|post comment
