"Take me to him." She hesitates, and Brian struggles to sit up, ignoring the pain that explodes from his chest as he hangs his feet over the side of the bed. "Now." He tries to sound commanding, but instead ends up gasping for air. "Mr. Kinney," the nurse shoots for soothing, "You're in no condition to leave your bed, and Mr. Taylor will be in ICU until he regains consciousness." "Then get me a fucking wheelchair."
