While his body still felt heavy and drugged, the pain was localized to his shoulder. Michael and Lindsay sat in the corner, whispering. “Justin?” “Brian!” Lindsay tried to smile. “Do you remember what happened?” He tried. The diner, a gun. Suddenly fear replaced the pain, replaced everything. “Justin,” he said urgently. Lindsay bit her lip and took his hand. “He saved you.
