Until he's with Ethan, Justin never appreciates that he's always had enough to eat. Their collective income isn't always enough for quality dinners, so Justin starts going to his mother's for meals more, and sometimes Debbie gives him free food after his shift. 

With his bonus money from the carnival poster, Justin buys groceries. At the store, he remembers shopping with Brian-- bad jokes about dildos when selecting phallic vegetables, the way he'd tease Justin about his choice of "kiddie cereal" before buying it anyway....

He gets dessert and eats it alone.
