Once upon a time I had a drabble challenge. It was known as "The 37 Days of Gusmas," and if you weren't around then, you can see the rules here:

I'm thinking of doing something like it again. The "37 Days" is the time from Thanksgiving to New Year's Day, and Gusmas is our QAF fandom winter holiday. I'll have some kind of prompt -- image or words, maybe some song lyrics and quotations -- for each day. I'll probably change it a bit from last year, just to keep it fun, but it will still have the 37 prompts.
My fandom charity this year will be The Trevor Project, which supports LGBT and questioning youth who are being bullied or who are feeling hopless and suicidal. If we do this challenge, I'll donate $1 for each drabble posted during the time of the challenge. No limit this year, so hey, you could potentially bankrupt me! I dare ya!
There will be prizes for everyone who posts at least one drabble for each prompt, and a super-duper present for anyone who posts a story told in exactly 37 drabbles, one for each prompt (and no more than one per prompt this year!).
I need to know two things: Are you interested, and will you volunteer to help me with the prompts? |
