Title: Investments (challenge #182, Justin’s art)
Warnings/Author's Notes: Later on
And the condom goes to: Brian’s package, mmmmmm…

Blake knew that Ted’s passions extended beyond his work. Still, at parties, several pairs of eyes would roll when he enthused about subjects like “riskless arbitrage.”

When they had married and Blake signed papers uniting their finances, he questioned several investments. Keeping Justin’s paintings in storage seemed…cold. Even after Ted explained that in twenty years, they would be worth several times their initial price, Blake felt unsettled.

It wasn’t until they were in bed and Ted had whispered promises to him of “never having to worry” and “you’ll always be okay” that Blake remembered.

Ted loved Blake best of all.
