Title: Father's Day

Brian hadn't given his father a gift, a card, or even a phone call on Father's Day since he was ten.

When Gus was a baby, too young to understand what was going on, Lindsay and Melanie would buy Brian a card and sign Gus's name. Brian always secretly held onto these, though he wasn't sure why.

This year, Gus had come to visit for the entire day, with two cards, two gifts, for two people. Brian asked the Munchers about this, but they refused to explain.

Then a beaming Justin emerged from the bedroom, and it all made sense.

Title: Summer Fun
Condom: Debbie

Brian had always loved summer when he was a kid. It meant no school, no teachers, and no parents. He could spend days at a time over at the Novotny's house, hanging out with Mikey at the community pool, making fun of his Captain Astro pajamas, and enjoying the delicious meals Debbie made them. She even made Brian's favorite snacks, just for him.

Now, with Justin complaining about the excessive heat, stripping of all his clothes as he walked across the loft, beads of sweat just begging to be licked from his skin, Brian loved summer for a different reason.

Title: Father’s Day
Author: [info]vl_redreign

Condom: Debbie

A/N: I found a way to combine Father’s Day and summer in one drabble. I think. No beta.

Summers in Pittsburgh were hot and muggy, and the fact that the Vette was a convertible was a godsend on days like this. A Sunday road trip sounded like a great idea.

Wind blowing their hair, Brian and Michael listened as Justin chattered on about New York, his studio, and his upcoming show. It was coming together, and soon, Brian hoped, Justin would be back for good, instead of these short visits.

They arrived, making their way along immaculately landscaped lawns and stopping to pay tribute to the man that epitomized “Father” to them all.

“Hey, Uncle Vic,” Michael said.

Title: Under the Bright Yellow Sunshine
Note: Hopped on the Father's Day bandwagon; no beta (to post on Father's Day)
Condom: Ben

At Britin this Father’s Day, Lindsay floated on a raft, watching Brian give Gus a shoulder ride in the pool, while Ben gave Hunter one. She saw Brian squinting at Justin who was dipping a toe in by the steps to check the water, which was perfect.

Meanwhile, Melanie slathered sunscreen on JR and Michael shouted, from under the cabana with Deb, Carl and Emmett, "Let it dry before swimming!"

Lindsay giggled, between an Italian father and a Jewish mother, her daughter would be minded well.

Lindsay looked around again and decided that between everybody, they’d all be watched over well.
