Title: The heat is off
A/N: This drabble was definitely inspired by the current challenge theme, but it turned out to be quite the opposite of "hot". That's why it is posted as "outside of the challenge".
The sudden rumbling sound resonated so loudly in the vastness of the shared workspace that Justin almost dropped his brush. A pitiable hissing noise later the battered old radiator died. And, surprisingly, no amount of cursing and kicking seemed to have any effect on that stubborn excuse for a heating device.
Justin rubbed his clammy hands. There were only so many unintentional brush strokes he could smooth out without completely ruining the canvas. Also, he would not mind feeling warm again for a change.
He picked up the phone and hit speed dial. "Hey. What are you doing this weekend?" |
