How did I ever believe you weren’t a romantic?” “It’s a mystery,” shrugged Brian. They slid the rings on each other’s fingers, then kissed, deep and heady. “Come here,” said Brian, leading Justin towards the bed. Four leather cuffs lay on the duvet. He grinned. “Now that you’re finally mine, I think it’s high time I punished you for taking your sweet-ass time in New York.” Justin smiled and bent over.

“I’d walk a mile for a soak in a hot tub” Ben said as he walked in from the gym.
“You don’t have to do that. All you have to do is follow me.” Michael grinned, taking Ben’s hand and leading him upstairs to the bathroom.
The room was bathed in candlelight and Ben sighed as Michael began undressing him. He climbed into the water, stretching out as the warmth eased his muscles.
“Want me to wash your back?” Michael asked.
Ben reached out, pulling a fully clothed Michael into the tub.

I’d walk for mile for . . . hell, I’ve walked a mile for lots of things. When you don’t have a car or enough money for a cab, you walk a lot. I’ve walked a mile from the bus stop to Brian’s loft; I’ve walked a mile down Liberty Avenue, afraid someone would accidentally touch me; I’ve walked at least a mile to Debbie’s place in the rain when Brian kicked me out; I’ve walked over a mile in the Gay Pride parade. But I’d walk 10 miles over broken glass just to hear Brian say, “I love you.”
