“You sure you want to know?”
“Sure….why not!”
Michael handed him some money and he ran off.
Ben looked at his husband
“Do you think that’s a good idea?”
“I doubt she will get anything right!”
“How come?”
“She tried to tell me once who my true love was and got it wrong”
Michael stood on tip toe, kissing Ben.

A/N: I thought it would be fun for Hunter to have a little convo with Mysterious Marilyn. After Emmett and Ted, Hunter and Mysterious Marilyn are my other favorite QAF characters beside B/J. This was not beta'd.

Hunter’s eyes go back and forth between his tasty burger and the man with gorgeous hazel eyes. Brian already shooed him once when he went over attempting to sit in his booth. And that blond helper kept talking to Brian.
Pfffftttt.
Hunter gave Brian a wink when the latter once again caught the kid watching him.
A tall figure walked in the diner and abruptly stopped next to Hunter.
“Bad bet. He’s taken.” She spoke with a lisp.
“I know, he told me.”
“Aren’t I good kid?”
“I guess. Can you tell me the winning lotto number for this week?”

Brian looked up from his drink as Mysterious Marilyn sat down at his table.
“Had a flat tire, found the boy where I told you. All is well now but know that the future holds sadness and heartache for both of you. Know that there will be smiles, laughter and happiness in the end.”
“I tell you this now so you will be strong for the both of you. You will know the end before it comes, this will get you through the ups and downs of the next few years.”
She smiled and walked off leaving Brian totally stunned. |
