Title: Which Hoodie?
Notes: I really wanted to call this "Everything is Justin's Hoodies." That's the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the prompt!
And the condom goes to: What the hell, I can't write enough every week to counteract Vamp, and it is about his damn hoodies, so JUSTIN.
“Have you seen my gray hoodie?”
“Hanging by the door.”
“Not that one. The American Eagle one.”
“Huh?”
“It has a blue fleece lining.”
“Maybe it’s in your pile of shit by the bed.”
Justin dug through the pile, pulling out a gray hoodie. He sighed heavily.
“What?” Brian asked.
“This one has a maroon lining!”
“How many of those damn things do you have?”
“I don’t know...seven?”
“Then what does it matter which one you wear to class?”
Justin walked to the closet, pulled open the door to reveal many black sleeveless shirts, and said, “You tell me.” |

Brian smiled at Justin’s expression. He didn’t roll his eyes at the twinge of doubt in Justin’s voice when he asked, “I do?” He knew he was beautiful, right? He knew Brian thought he was beautiful, right? Brian wrapped his arms around him, kissing his ear. “You’re beautiful.”
In their tuxes Brian was sure that twinkie tees, too tight jeans, baggy cargo pants and hoodies would forever be a part of their past, and, judging from Justin’s crammed drawers, their future.
He also knew that he would always love the boy Justin had been, and the man he had become. |

“Ha!” Justin exclaimed as he plunked down a series of photos from Brian’s teen years.
“Want to give me more to go on than ‘ha’?”
“No more bitching about my hoodies. Photographic evidence that you had the same style inclinations at my age.”
Justin could sense the immediate shift in Brian’s mood. “It’s not a hoodie. It’s a sweatshirt,” Brian corrected.
“What’s the difference?”
“I wasn’t following someone’s fashion trend, Justin. Jack drank away the money that should have bought us winter coats. I was trying to stay warm.”
Justin remained on the couch, stunned, as Brian left the room.
