And just squeezing in, this marks the end of Challenge #39! This weeks condoms were incredibly close, with the final count being:

Debbie: 1
Emmett: 2
Justin: 9
Brian: 14

And the winner: Michael with 15 condoms!

Challenge #40: Sentence Prompt

Okay, so I picked a random book off my shelf -- Neil Gaiman's American Gods -- flipped to a random page, put my finger down, and after a couple of tries (they were too story-specific) hit this:

An ordinance prohibiting expectoration on sidewalks and on the floors of public buildings, or throwing thereon tobacco in any form was introduced and passed, eight to four, in December of 1876.

Or, if spitting grosses you out too much ;-)

He was surprised to discover that the car was, when clean - against all reason - white, and pretty much free of rust.

Use it directly or just be inspired by it, either way works, but if inspired, tell us why!

I also would like to introduce the December challenge! This month, from now until Dec 26th, the person who writes the most amount of drabbles, will win a prize! We haven't decided what that prize will be yet, but it'll be something fun, we promise! So, happy drabbling folks, and I can't wait to tally up the writers when the month is finished!

Since I had a few people really dislike the last prompt, I added a second sentence. This one is not about spitting, hah!

Also, further clarifaction on the Month(ish) long challenge... yes, there will still be weekly prompts. All we're going to do, is at the end of the month, count up each writer's drabbles and see who wrote the most. The person that did gets a prize. Good? If you have questions about the challenge, leave them here, and I or [info]happier_bunny will answer them as best as we can!

Happy Thanksgiving, to all my fellow Americans out there! Happy Thursday to rest of the world!

Title: Happy Anniversary
Author: Foreverbm
Timeline: After season 5
A/N: And they keep coming, thanks to everyone who has put up with my ongoing obsession with this weeks challenge
Condom: Michael

Michael lit the last candle as Ben’s key turned in the lock.
He hurried over and was enveloped in his husband’s strong arms, mouth kissed deeply and long, making him go weak at the knees. Ben still had that effect on him, even after all these years.
Ben peeped over Michael’s head, eyes scanning the room. It was bathed in candlelight, table set to perfection, flowers everywhere.
“Happy Anniversary Ben!”
“You did all of this?”
Michael looked up at him shyly, nodding his head.
“It’s beautiful baby, but I have to ask, what’s that smell?”
Michael sniffed the air.
“Fuck!...dinner!”

Title: PSA
Author: Vamphile
Timeline: Mid Season One
Condom(s): Justin

Answer my poll... it's been updated

PSA

Brian ground the cigarette stub out with his shoe.

“Brian.”

“What now?”

“Putting out cigarettes on the sidewalk is littering.”

“If I throw a lit cigarette in a trashcan it’s arson.”

“Well, can’t you just throw it out now?”

“No.”

Justin sighed and Brian pinched the bridge of his nose preparing for a patented Justin Taylor PSA. He had gotten used to them in the past few months. When there was no long list of reasons forthcoming Brian opened his eyes. Justin’s attention was focused elsewhere. Fear and anger both visible.

Brian recognized Craig immediately and angled himself between them.
