I'm going to rec a trilogy of fics written by our very own ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) azureopal.
When I first came to fandom, I was sucked into the vortex known as BJfic.net, sometimes referred to as The Bad Place.
They used to have a feature called Fic Of the Month. It's where I discovered writers such as Jane2005, Crazy Fairy, plumsuede, vamphile, Kimberly and others. And somehow, I stumbled across a writer named azureopal.
I scrolled through her posted fics, and came across this summary:
