WELCOME TO THE IJ QAF FRIENDING PARTY
Whether you're a lurker, a little shy or a big mouth like me, we're all here for the same reason: WE LOVE QUEER AS FOLK
and we want to celebrate our love! One of the loudest messages from QaF is about how you can pick your family and that's how I like to think of all of us.

If you don't know what to say, just tell us how you found QaF or fandom or both. What's your fave fic or who makes the best icons? Maybe mention where you live (your timezone). Or, it can be just as simple as commenting with a smile :D.

If you're too shy to comment, please know that ANYONE who comments here is willing to have you add them as a friend. Also, feel free to ask people questions or jump into conversations and know that everyone is accepted and loved, even if English isn't your first language. 	Thanks for the welcome. I can't believe you lurked on Refugee and didn't participate! It was great. My best friends (not just virtual) are from meeting them on Refugee. I still post over there ever so often. I closed the site where my philflamericks were posted but I might post them to my LJ someday. I know you liked them and I love writing them. 	It's a little late but we loved it when new people joined. It's sort of like right now - it's always great to meet new fans. It took me awhile to realize the full extent of the fandom but I was already on TWOP when I met Morph in person. I couldn't believe it was her. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
