Kate really couldn’t believe what was happening, the past week had kind of happened all in a blur. First she ended up kissing Jason and realizing that she was in love with him, still in love with him but she didn’t have the nerve to tell Jamie about it right away. Kate wasn’t sure why, part of her wanted to stay with Jamie because he was safe. What they had going was a good thing, she knew that he cared about her and she cared about him, too. Kate was still unsure of how Jason felt about her, even though she distinctly remembered him saying that he would always love her, but who knew what kind of love he meant? Besides the initial burst of tears that Kate had right after Jason left her dorm that day, she managed to act pretty normal for the rest of the week when around her friends and Jamie. Then Jamie invited her to a celebration dinner Kate went, but it was a little bit harder for her to act normal because Nicole was there. Kate’s feelings about Nicole were very conflicted. Generally she liked the girl, she was nice and had never done anything personally mean to Kate, besides date Jason and now suddenly strike up a friendship with Jamie. Kate’s jealousy over Jamie and Nicole becoming friends confused her even more, and prolonged Kate’s ability to make up her mind or even decide when or what she wanted to tell Jamie.

And then Jamie and Kate were back in her dorm in her bed room and it didn’t take long for them get start getting physical, and that was when Kate realized, or just let it pop out, that she was still in love with Jason and couldn’t be with Jamie. He took it a lot better then Kate thought he would, she even wanted him to be angry with her, to yell at her because she felt so bad, but he did the complete opposite, which just proved how great of a guy Jamie really was.

By the time all of that was sorted out and Kate as alone again and not crying it was getting close to two in the morning, but she needed to talk to Jason and she needed to talk to him now. After throwing a sweater on, Kate ran full speed down to her car and headed to Jason’s apartment, not even taking into consideration how late it was and that he was probably sleeping. She sped the entire way to Jason’s house, parked in visitor’s parking and then ran up to where his apartment was, knocking on the door when she arrived. Kate fidgeted in front of his door and when he didn’t answer right away she knocked again, but harder. When he didn’t answer for a second time Kate practically pounded on his door, attempting to catch her breath at the same time but not doing too well at it.

Being without Kate was something that Jason definitely wasn't prepared for. He wasn't prepared for it when she left to go to Providence, even though he tried as hard as he could to prepare himself for it. And then he definitely wasn't prepared for it when she called him and broke up with him. That took him completely by surprise, and it broke his heart more than he cared to admit. He loved her with all his heart, and he didn't really realize how deeply his feelings for her ran until there wasn't the possibility to be with her anymore. That killed him, and he didn't know if he'd ever get over her. He thought he did, but that was only because he hadn't seen her in so long. As soon as he saw her again, all those feelings came rushing back, and he knew he couldn't live without her. It just took him awhile to admit that to himself. Jason didn't like being dependant on someone else, but he was completely dependant on Kate whether he wanted to admit it or not. And now that she was his again, he was never going to give her up again.

The moans that were pouring out of Kate's mouth made Jason's breath hitch ... that was a sound he never expected to hear again. And it was still just as hot now as it was back then. He had always loved hearing her moans, they were like music to his ears. He loved knowing that whatever he was doing to her was enough to illicit a moan, or a groan, or anything like that from her. It made him feel good. His fingers continued working against her clit, his breathing quickening as her hand continued stroking him inside his pants. When she removed her bra, Jason smirked at her and nodded. "Definitely bigger," he stated, his eyes moving to her face as she kissed him. Kate’s breathing was getting pretty hard as Jason’s finger continued to move against her. It felt good to be topless in front of Jason again, and she couldn’t help but grin again when he said that she was definitely bigger. If her boyfriend thought her boobs were bigger then she was happy, but she was determined that they were the same size as the last time she was topless in front of Jason, which was unfortunately too long ago. After letting her mouth tease that part of Jason’s skin, and when both of their hands were out of each other’s pants, Kate slowly slid off of Jason’s lap and stood up in front of him. She then slid her jeans off, stepping out of them and then taking her socks off as well, just leaving them on the floor where she was. Kate was surprised how comfortable she already was with standing with just her panties on in the front room of Jason’s apartment, and she ran a hand through her hair before offering it to help Jason up and off of the couch. “Oh, and I got on birth control so we don’t have to use a rubber,” Kate pointed out with a grin. That was the one downfall that Kate and Jason had when being together on the island, they always had to use a condom and it got to be a big pain in the ass. Sex was much better without condoms, and besides their drunken night that one Halloween, Kate was looking forward to sleeping with Jason without one for the first time. Once Jason was up Kate grinned at him before she started walking towards his bed room, remembering exactly where it was. Once she reached the door frame she waited for him, leaning against it. Kate then leaned up and pressed her lips to Jason again, walking backwards into Jason’s bed room and towards his bed.

Smirking as she told him that she wanted to feel him inside of her, Jason nodded. "Mmhmm. I'm game with moving to the bedroom," he told her, his hands moving up her thighs over her jeans, grasping her ass as he kissed her again. He let her slide off his lap, and sat there for a minute, collecting his thoughts. He was so hard, he was almost poking through the hole in his pajama pants, since he never bothered to button it. Kate couldn’t help but notice how hard Jason was, and it only made her grin at him. She was completely comfortable with being half naked around him, it had been so long but once the two of them got into the swing of things again things just fell back into place. One of the main reasons why Kate had gotten on birth control as soon as she could was because of that scare she had with Jason on the island. The two of them had freaked out and Kate didn’t want to go through that again. She wasn’t planning on sleeping with anyone when she first came to Brown, obviously since she was still with Jason, but her plan was so that she could be completely ready for him when they did get to see each other again. She didn’t want condoms to get in the way, so the pill was the way to go. Unfortunately Kate and Jason didn’t see each other again after that and she didn’t sleep with someone else until quite a while later. It was still reassuring that she was prepared, and it was certainly going to come in handy now that she was with Jason again.

When Jason’s arms wrapped around her Kate made sure to wrap her arms around him, kissing him back and letting him lead her to his bed. It was dark in his room and she was sure she wouldn’t know where the hell to go if she was on her own. Kate's arms around him and her lips against his were enough to drive him insane all by themselves, but together all it was doing was making him go absolutely crazy. He loved the way her body felt against his, and it had been way too long since he'd felt her bare skin against his. It was a feeling he'd never gotten used to before, and Jason didn't think he'd ever get used to it, no matter how often he felt it. And he really hoped he felt it often. Really often. He never wanted her to leave. Kate groaned at the roughness that Jason kissed her with, and returned the kiss with the same passion behind it. Her hands explored his back, arms, stomach and chest. Kate let her nails run along her skin as her tongue massaged Jason’s. She arched her back a bit as Jason’s hands ran along her chest and she kissed him even deeper, sucking and nipping at his bottom lip when she could. In a way, Kate still couldn’t believe that she was back with Jason. After a full year of dreaming, wanting and fantasizing it was actually happening. She went from thinking she would never be able to touch Jason again, never be able to feel his lips on her mouth and his hands on her skin to having him naked and on top of her on his bed.
