Harry Potter with an American twist.

Over 1,000 years ago, schools for witches and wizards were founded in European countries to instruct students in magic. Hundreds of years later, late to the party as usual, American witches and wizards started their own school, after the disaster that was the Salem Witch Trials. Since then, Salem Academy has flourished as well as its European cousin schools.

As times grew modern, American witches and wizards became immersed in Muggle culture. Now in the 21st century, Salem Academy seems like any other high school. There's just one difference.

These kids know magic.


Have an idea for two characters? Don't want to have to wait for two weeks of game play? Want to help us get to fifteen characters faster? For a limited time only, we're waiving our wait time for characters! Apply for two at once, just until opening! At the mark of the 22nd century, the human race finally cracked the code on intergalactic space travel, allowing anyone and everyone to explore the deep levels of space. New galaxies were found as alien races were discovered. Humans finally realized that they weren’t the only people in the universe, let alone the smartest race. Humanity struggled to find its place in the newly discovered community of races and most humans dwindled away, never to be seen again. As new technologies were discovered, the 'aliens' found out how much they really held a distaste for the humans. In a way to destroy their connections, they decided to implode the earth, leaving many humans stranded and alone.

Imagine, if you will, a magical village that’s unplottable, inescapable, and inexplicable. No one knows how they found themselves in this village, but what they soon find out is that almost all aspects of life in this village are controlled by Rita Skeeter. She knows your deepest, darkest secret -- the one you would never reveal to a single soul -- and if you refuse to play by her rules, she has promised to expose you. What’s more? Your secret will be revealed and you will never be able to return to the time and place you left. There will be only one escape: death.

Though your leisure time will be your own, you must live and work where she tells you. She will assign you an occupation, a place to live, and grant you a reasonable allowance to begin your new life in Lockewood Village.

The additional twist? Individuals from all times may be transported to Lockewood Village at any point in their life. Their presence will not affect the outcomes of the main timeline. Tom Riddle’s presence will not remove Lord Voldemort or prevent the First or Second Wars. New relationships may be flourish, but they will not prevent anyone from being married or born. Lockewood Village exists on a whole separate plane of reality.
