A.U. Harry Potter Fifth Year

Fifteen years ago the Potters placed a Fidelius Charm upon their home, making Sirius Black their Secret Keeper. Lord Voldemort never discovered their location and feigned his retreat. Harry grew up in a loving home. Neville was not coddled but loved. Upon entering Hogwarts, Harry learned the world was not exactly as his parents and uncles had made it out to be. Neville was pleased that everything was what he had hoped for.

In 1995 the world is changing. It has become a place of tension and strife.

When Bartemius Crouch Senior came into office he led the largest dark wizard hunt of the century. His nets caught the blundering and the stupid but allowed the slipperiest of the Dark Lord’s followers through, including his own son. Barty Crouch Junior, under the direction of his Lord, went on to work for his father at the Ministry. At the beginning of the present school year he was inducted as the current Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.

The Ministry is rife with corruption. Death Eaters lie in wait for their Lord’s return. Their day is here and now. If the Order cannot handle it, if the Ministry is too subverted to control it, then what are the Prophesied Children to do? It is up to Harry and Neville to rise to the occasion, for the sake of the Wizarding World.

Tweak! is an AU Harry Potter fifth year that focuses on both adult and teenage spheres and scenes. Gameplay begins once we have ten characters, with the school year already under way.

They said that in Hollywood, the streets were paved with gold. At that time, they might have been. People flocked to see the stars plucked from the sky and made flesh and blood, the flashbulbs illuminating their way down the red carpet into premieres and event halls. Their handprints can still be seen in the cement today and they look all too human when compared with the legend that these lives held. The truth has been and always will be that Hollywood was paved with sweat, blood and tears.

BEGINNING MARCH 15TH

It's 1980 and the first war is escalating. Voldemort is slowly taking over all aspects of magical life; he is systematically knocking out important ministry figures in his quest to deter Millicent Bagnold's campaign for Minister of Magic, and plotting the demise of key radicals in the Order of the Phoenix, Dumbledore's agitating, underground society. But something is changing. A new prophecy is being crafted by someone who has seen how Voldemort's campaign will tear the world apart and destroy the lives of those fighting against him. Will they re-shape the war to a better end, or simply delay what they are trying to prevent? Maybe an ill wind is blowing nobody any good.

Welcome to Revolve
After the death of Charles Xavier, Revolve became the home for all mutants, whether they like it or not. Stripped of their rights, fitted with collars and powers suppressed until their matches, life on Revolve is difficult and rigid. PROLOGUE

There's an elite boarding school an hour away from San Francisco that's dedicated to the education of children with superpowers: Veritas Academy. Veritas takes these children in and helps them control their gifts - trying to turn them into productive members of society. The lucky few become heroes and villains that are respected and feared the world over, but the rest also have real stories to tell. They are known as businesspeople, lawyers, doctors, academics, nurses, and teachers. They are the people you know, but never stop to truly wonder about.

There are success stories and failures that are known everywhere, but not everyone can be Superman. The majority of the students remain virtually unknown to the majority of the public as they go about their everyday jobs and lead their everyday lives.

The Veritas Alumni Association decided to follow the trend that had been set by Livejournal, Facebook and MySpace, and set up their own social networking site. It became known as something that old students use to keep in touch with friends, watch their enemies and complain about their everyday lives. Yet in between the complaints, arguments and laughs that the students are having, something is beginning to interrupt their lives:

Someone is killing alumni, and no one knows who's going to be next.
