[Effects of previous days might've vanished by now, but still, today won't be your luckiest day. Today there's an eclipse in the sky, and to those who are more used to magical worlds, it might be a more obvious sign that something will inevitably go wrong.

As the night falls, certain areas will become busier - forests and swamps where creatures crawl will see their numbers suddenly rise, and these extra animals and monsters need somewhere to go.

Even if you're in a safer area, you might run into one of them. Maybe something as harmless as a a deer, or something much more sinister waiting for you outside your house, walking into stores, in the various routes, even within lakes and the sea.

So watch out, because this will be a very long night.]

[Frieren nods, approving and knowing of the effort, her eyes scanning the area around them one more time. Okay. Here it goes.]

Now.

[A jump, one last big blast and a protective mana shield encircling them both...

And before long Frieren leaps entirely up into the air, propelling them both quickly away and flying out of reach the monsters can swarm back. ~~Whee~~ I mean- whew.]
