I have a couple of announcements to make. The first is that starting in January I will be teaching astrophysics at Columbia University. The second is that I will not be drinking tonight, at all.

I hate to disappoint you all, but there will be no drunk posts from me. Thank you.

New Years, one of my favourite celebrations. All about the alcohol. I will be in Time Square, watching the ball drop. Do they still do that here?
