Who: Lidia and Beatrice What: Beatrice meets her new neighbor When: Friday, midday Where: Female Dorms Rating: PGish Warnings: None
Hou Ren's latest immigrant had trouble believing her own luck when she managed to get an enormous dorm room to herself--and she'd been taking advantage of it since getting settled in. It hadn't taken long, considering how few things she and Aleksey moved with, but since being practically handed the means to material irresponsibility, she'd spent much of the last week filling her closet, filling her medicine cabinet, and snatching up as much of her old music stores as she could find through the Helper.
Today, she decided to break in the new stereophonic system. Her dorm was already flooded with the heavy, sweet smelling humidity of her recent shower; now, after a simple command, it was flooded with the haunting strains of Lidia's particular breed of music tastes. The bass vibrated in the floor, the chords and rhythm stroked through her conscious thoughts and across her soul like a rabid lover. For her, it was trance-music, and dancing opened every chakra, and every pit-black center. Drugged by the strains and melody, like always, the Jakal's unwanted daughter dressed and primped, writhed, twisted, and hair-whipped around her wide-open living space. For once in her life, without a care in the world.
