Lidia's snort of enthusiastic derision couldn't be helped--she wouldn't have hidden it if she could, anyway. How lucky she was to have God's Gift to Everything as a next door neighbor? She was practically salivating at the possible opportunities to slip little doses of reality into this Poof's life, so long as they shared a wall.
That'd come in time. Lidia figured she had plenty.
"I suppose not," Lidia conceded with the perfect mix of sweetness and snide grin. "You would have to be very wealthy to custom order everything from the circus." Lidia winked at the Aussie, nudging the door with her foot so she could head back in. "Perhaps some day, though? Until then--enjoy your chi-chi, lovey. I will be sure to make you a mix for 'inner peace'." Those last words were twisted with acidic sarcasm, and punctuated with Lidia shutting her door.
