What: Stefan's bff meets his bro
When: Saturday night
Where: The Red Rooms
Status: In progress!
Warnings: Tbd
Strip clubs weren’t really Serena’s thing. A tasteful burlesque performance, perhaps but never anything as classless as a strip club. Serena could be plenty classless when she wanted to be but it just wasn’t her scene. She was pleasantly surprised when she walked into The Red Rooms and found that it wasn’t the kind of seedy dive she might have found her stepbrother drinking in during one of his many low points. Chuck would have liked this place too but he had a fondness for Thai hookers that couldn’t be satiated by a more high class place like The Red Rooms.
Despite the venue choice, Serena was dressed as usual. She wore an extremely short silver dress that barely came covered her to mid thigh. Because Serena’s legs were so long, dresses tended to look extra short on her. Her long blonde hair was down tonight, hanging in loose curls down her back. Her heels and handbag were designer as always and she had accessorized for the occasion. She had originally planned on going to The Teardrop and visiting David at work but at the last minute decided to go and check out Portland’s infamous strip club instead. She had her reasons for doing so.
“Ladies and gentleman, please take your seats,” a voice said over the speakers. “And get ready for the sexy and mysterious Cristal Connors!”
The lights dimmed, some popular r&b song started thumping base through the speakers. Serena turned her head towards the stage and saw a compact little brunette come out and begin to put on her show. The way she moved her body was expert and Serena tilted her head, finding herself drawn to the magnetic appeal of Cristal. Serena was gorgeous, she was used to turning heads everywhere she went. Blair often complained about hanging out with Serena because she felt like nobody looked at her when Serena was around. What Blair didn’t understand was that her insecurity was ruining her sex appeal. She doubted Cristal would have that problem. Something about her oozed confidence and that was sexy. More than that, she was pretty and dark and totally Stefan’s type. She should be the stripper at his bachelor party. She would mention that when she talked to Damon.
At the bar she ordered a gin and tonic and patiently waited for it as she watched Cristal disrobe and move her body to the music in a way that almost made Serena envious. Sure, Serena was pretty but she didn’t have that kind of natural grace and wow, flexibility.
“You know,” some guy with serious halitosis leaned in and said quietly into her hair. “Gentlemen prefer blondes.”
Serena rolled her eyes before she turned to him. “And blondes prefer men who can come up with better pick up lines.” She smiled politely but icily in his direction before accepting her gin and tonic. Before she could put some money on the bar, the guy who was flirting with her beat her to the punch. Serena sighed. She was used to male attention but she figured in a strip club that the attention would be on the strippers. “You didn’t have to do that.”
“But I wanted to,” he said. “So… how much for a lap dance from you?”
Serena arched one perfectly tweezed blonde eyebrow in his direction and gave him a quick and clinical once over with her blue green eyes. The suit was off the rack and ill-fitting and his shoes, while designer, were from three seasons ago at least.
“You couldn’t afford it.” She gave him one last bitchy smile before walking away from him.
She could feel eyes following her as she walked through the club but she paid them no mind. She was here to see one very specific vampire and knew that he managed the club. While Serena had heard a lot about Damon Salvatore from her close friend Stefan, she had never actually talked to him. She was a little anxious about talking to him because she already knew so much about him and not all of it was very good. In fact, mos tof it was very bad. Not that Damon would be the first bad guy that Serena hung out with, she had gone through a bad boy phase awhile back but that had been mostly to piss off her absentee mother. Bad as he was, Stefan loved him. He was Stefan’s brother. Serena loved her Whoreos to absolute pieces but Robin and Penny were older and closer to each other. Serena and Stefan had clicked right away too and he was eternally seventeen so they were a little closer in age…. in theory. Either way, she considered him her best friend here. He was a pretty far jump from Blair Waldorf but even Blair would appreciate his fashion sense.
She walked up to a bouncer and asked him where she could find Damon Salvatore. The bouncer barely looked at her, probably thinking her another dancer looking for a job. Serena wasn’t Blair. She wasn’t going to get on stage for anyone. If David wanted a show, he could get one from her privately but that was it.
The bouncer pointed her in the right direction and she headed to a table where a brooding looking dark haired man was sitting.
“Damon?” Serena asked. She held out her hand to shake his. “Serena. I’m Stefan’s friend.”
