PLAGUED RPG

At 10pm on the 24th of October the rumours are confirmed. Two people have contracted the virus, and are both currently residing in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
There's no other option. No other way to halt the spread. No other way to protect the British population from the virus. The Ministry has no other choice...

Quarantine.

A bubble, a shield, formed from above the very tip of the tallest tower, and spanned out over the grounds. It appeared to shimmer, oily with rainbow colours, as it slid through the air, finally touching down. A dome, trapping everyone inside, before vanishing from sight. But not from existence.

[[The Quarantine is impassable. No character may leave the school at any time. All tunnels are blocked, a three mile radius of the school, including one part of the forbidden forest.
As you approach the quarantine, a buzzing sound fills your ears, louder the closer you get. Touching the invisible walls results in a small static shock. Nothing major, just a small jolt of pain to remind you to stay back.]]

Unfortunately, it looks like it was a busy weekend (it happens)! Feel free to go back to either the ball, or the anti-ball and start a small scene of your character seeing the quarantine start!

So! We've decided to officially open a Pre-threading run before the game starts!
This gives everyone a chance to get to know their characters and how they're anticipating playing them. It gives you a chance to come up with some character history outside of established plot in the books!
It also gives us a chance to take this baby for a spin before we get her out on the track!

So, few notes about the prethreading!

>> It's not officially game canon. It's a sort of... general gist of what might've happened in the past. If you'd like to mention it in-game when it starts, then feel free but you're not obliged to keep it if the pre-threading doesn't end up the way you want.
Don't go pressurising whoever you're playing with. If they don't like the thread, then it didn't exist!

>>When posting a pre-thread, please post the 'Status' as Pre-thread. You can also add 'Open' or what have you, but please mark it as a pre-thread.

>>Same goes with tags!

>>Pre-threads can be set at ANY time before September 1st, whether it be March 1998 or November 1947 (though why you'd set something so far back, I don't know)
