None of these things are more than a trivial nuisance.
But then, some of them are a great deal larger.
In the throes of the partial change, when there is lust in the air before him, a chain or magical binding might be required to hold him steady, despite that he is lucid through the night, despite that his mind is clear. His body craves and trembles with needs and unreasoning forces that lie outside his control, until he has learned to give over to the control of another. She can hold him without any chain, and in return, their balance is careful. She never directs him but on this night, and on this night, she controls him completely.
He never knows what he might see.
Now, when the world around him exists in shades of grey, there is yet, in the midst of it, color. His own part is muddy red, heated and hard and blurred by morning. Hers is blue, and crisp. The sharp yellow and bright living green are new.

It wouldn't be out of place for me to shamelessly promote my work… indeed, it is the very purpose of this exercise! I am, however, a humble man, a scientist, an observer of beasts—and what more fascinating than the pall of the green-eyed beast, I daresay?—and as such, self-promotion does not come easily to me.
I ask you then, to take the word, instead, of my editor, a delightful, hard-working young woman who stated, after reading the first draft, "Cor, Newty! This is hawt!"
Which I, of course, took to mean: it was an intense tale, with timeless themes—one of which killed the proverbial cat and another which drives an intensely reticent man to uncommon action—delicately interwoven and expertly crafted to include a foreign land… and a foreign tongue.

It has been quite the busy week. Many stories have been outlined here for your delectation. I can only hope that my tale continues to whet your appetites, and that perhaps there are some amongst you who are discriminating enough in your tastes to appreciate it.
Our next member is a young man who had what many assumed was a privileged upbringing, but not every home is the way it appears from the outside, is it? No, indeed not. Considered a prince amongst men, he is a valued part of our threesome.
