Some of them are small. There is the tickle of the sinuses in certain stormy weather, as though the wolf-instinct seeks to respond in some manner that all but one day a month the mind cannot decipher. There is the dreadful awareness of the moon, despite that no wolf-body will come forth. There is the tendency toward anemia, remediable with careful attention to diet. None of these things are more than a trivial nuisance.
But then, some of them are a great deal larger.
In the throes of the partial change, when there is lust in the air before him, a chain or magical binding might be required to hold him steady, despite that he is lucid through the night, despite that his mind is clear. His body craves and trembles with needs and unreasoning forces that lie outside his control, until he has learned to give over to the control of another. She can hold him without any chain, and in return, their balance is careful. She never directs him but on this night, and on this night, she controls him completely.
He never knows what he might see.
Now, when the world around him exists in shades of grey, there is yet, in the midst of it, color. His own part is muddy red, heated and hard and blurred by morning. Hers is blue, and crisp. The sharp yellow and bright living green are new.

The Muggles with whom I have been staying experienced an outage of their eclecktricity, which a well placed Lumous or two would have solved. However after last year's... incident with this Ministry, I am loathe to expose even the tiniest hint of magic these days. Their interwebs seem oddly connected to this eclecktricity, and although I offered to help them reweave these webs, they refused my assistance with much whispering among themselves. Fortuantely my plight has been reversed, and the Muggles now have interwebs and eckecktricity and whatever other odd things Muggles seem to have. Therefore I present my final, tempting offer...
A brief snippet from Escape Artist by Derwent ShimplingSeverus had spent enough years with adolescents to recognize the signs of desire in their eyes. More potions had been ruined by mooning students than he cared to count, so it was not difficult to know what it meant every time Harry's eyes tracked Shacklebolt's movements. And Severus had to admit, if only from a purely aesthetic perspective, that Shacklebolt had some nice moves. That, however, did nothing to ameliorate the slightly nauseous feeling that teenage love-struck lust always seemed to give him. Nor did the fact that his own eyes tracked Harry's moves a bit more than he wanted to admit. Yet, while Harry's desire was both obvious and expected, Severus was faced with a different conundrum. I look into the spirit glass in my bathroom and wonder how I could have been so accused? Me? Little, apple-cheeked, innocent me? Surely you are being unfair!
And yet, perhaps there is a smidgen of truth in the charge. So far I have played with you with a quiz, given you my prompt and title in the form of a banner, but little else to let you know what treat awaits you.
Very well, to satisfy those who require firmer clues, here on my final pimp is a short extract from my story which will give you the names of the threesome involved and some idea of how they interact. I do hope it pleases you, gentle readers.

G, the aesthetic front for the Harry Potter Remembrance Fund for Wizarding Orphans, has been caught canoodling with her various patrons for a little extra cash. W (who, it has been revealed, is actually P in disguise) is busy gathering importance in the Ministry. To generate popularity, he has just donated money to the fund. G has requisitioned a little bit more by treating him the same way she treats her other patrons.
R's madness has been verified, as his neighbors report hearing him call H's name at night---and it is a known fact that H was a casualty of war. P (or W) catches wind of this. As P is supposed dead, he goes to his sister, G (as W), about it the next time he donates money, so that she can confront R about this new insanity. G has just enlisted W to help her try and cure R. Unfortunately, she has only one idea as to how to do it... and she is very close to discovering W's true identity.
What will happen when G discovers that W is, in fact, her (supposedly dead) brother P? And when she discovers that R is 'having sex' with her dead ex-boyfriend?

Original poster: gunhilda_g How I have cherished our time together, darlings. Unfortunately, we have just this one last chance to talk. As the publication date for my tale draws near, the time to reveal a small morsel has come.
Imagine, if you will, the third of our trio. He is a hero, and, he is oddly innocent in the ways of the world. Famous, yet already forgotten, except by his partners-to-be.
... the next few days were filled with what could only be described as... teasing. At first, Harry wasn’t sure that they were performing for him, but after he began catching glimpses of Snape and Malfoy repeatedly in hallways, around corners, even once on a stroll in the gardens, he began to take note of just how much time they spent together, and it was considerable.
And the glimpses were tantalizing to say the least. A flash of blond hair around a corner, the snap of a robe in a deserted hallway, the lingering scent of bitter herbs... That was how it started. Then, things escalated. Harry began noticing bits of Snape’s body at odd moments. His wrists were strangely alluring, especially when he would pull back his cuffs to reveal them during meals.
At other times Harry’d catch a glimpse of the hollow of Malfoy’s throat and he would lose his train of thought considering how that patch of skin would taste... Harry wondered if he was going mad.
But no. Malfoy was helping him to have those thoughts he was sure of it. For several days he would lean close to Harry at staff meetings, brush against him in hallways, whisper things as he passed by at meals. And Snape? Snape would hover over him, but not menacingly. Oh no. Now the hovering seemed to take on a waiting quality, as if Snape was expecting Harry to react to something. But what?
