I can't be the only one looking towards the beginning of the school year and feeling scared shitless. Time to stock up on lines? Most definitely.
This isn't your standard request, so pause a moment and read before you scroll past. I'm a het and femme loving writer, who plays males and females. I'm looking to mainly pick up original lines right now, in a variety of themes and settings. The catch? Well, there's two. One - I don't touch smut. If it's your thing, that's fine and dandy. Me? I fade to black only. Two - I'm looking for writing partners more then lines. People who I'm just as happy to chat with as tag in on, who'll help brainstorm awesome and amazing ideas, encourage creativity, and possibly lend a shoulder with the school year ahead. People who write characters and lines of all sorts - a range in genders and identities - and are open to more then one line.
Beyond that? I'm open. Have you been looking for someone similar? Drop me a line. Been hungering for a dark line? A fluffy one? Have a weird schedule so can only tag once a week? Online all the time and need that input? Have this-really-obscure-fandom-but-I-have-to-run-it-by-you-and-possibly-enable? Go for it. I'm looking for people in similar positions and who want the same thing I do. All you need to do is drop me a line here or in my journal. Naming three things you're interested in (For example...dreams, angst, and present tense...or Harry Potter, bands, and fluff) and a name to call you by would rock. Any three things. There are three main families holding their ground in LA. The Nishimura Family, the Robinson Family and the Callaghan Family. There is someone bigger, higher up than the boss' of these families. There has always been one person in charge. For decades one man has been moving people around like pawns. No one knows who he is or where he comes from. All anyone knows for sure is the leader of a family meets him once, the day after they take over their respected families. Even then, they never see his face. He speaks in a deep, yet soft voice. Unidentifiable. Whoever he is, he is feared.
Los Angeles has been living under his rules for decades, since the 60s. If things got out of hand, he would step in and fix it. If a boss wasn't sure how to handle a situation, they had their own way of contacting him. Never in person, of course. There have been rumors that his time is up. Too old to take the reigns and control the city. Some people fear he will give control to one family, leaving the others to have to follow under the rule of their enemies. Each family leader has been preparing their sons, hoping he will choose them.
The air is thick and tense. He has been the only one to keep peace between families. He took care of the Italians when they tried to take over, invading other families territories. All the families may not get along, but there is a sense of respect. Who knows if the next peace maker will do as good of a job he does?
When the FBI and LAPD make too much trouble, he comes in and smooths things over. When the men and women who have chose not to side with a family, try to make a bigger name for themselves, he talks them down or has them killed. LA will not be able to survive without him.

By 2016, Violet Inc. had made the United States a world superpower like it had never been before. Change was happening for the better. Many thought it a perfect age…until the disappearances began in 2017. People simply vanished, without rhyme or reason. Panic spread like wildfire and blame was thrown in every direction. A second wave of disappearances left the international community blaming the United States and the ever mysterious Violet Inc. The world was struck again soon after, as all major U.S. cities were gutted and leveled from numerous nuclear explosions. There was no warning. No light in the sky. Simply devastation. The current year is 2024, six years after the second Disappearance and the ravaging of the United States' major cities. Survivors have moved to rural areas or the wilderness. Strength lies always in numbers, as they say. Cults, gangs and tribes have taken hold in place of the civilized order that once was. Does the wasteland hold any hope? This is a long shot but would anyone be willing to PSL against Zach Cregger? I'm open to changing the PB, but I'd love to keep Zach if thats possible! I'd also be open to homing him in a town/city community if anyone would want him, I just want to keep his history without having to change it too much. Either way I'd love a female to tag along as the girlfriend he just broke up with before randomly deciding to "visit" his best friend.
