i'm sure if i knew you two back in the day, you'd look at her the way kaegan looks at me and with the same hunger. he still listens, and doesn't destroy the really good ones. or if he does, he replaces them. did you ever replace hers?

i did! I used to have to spend 6 or 8 months away from her on deployments so there was no stopping me when i got home. i warned her not to wear the good shit but she did anyway

we, as women, don't hear the "don't wear the good shit" because there are times we wanna fucking look our best for our boys. i can imagine her moreso if you were away. though i can't go fucking hours without kaegan so i hope i never have to go months

like, i'd love for kaegan to do something like that but at the same time, i couldn't just be here while he's putting his life on the line and not be with him. especially not after tomorrow. i don't like being far away from him, but it feels like half of me is gone when he's not near. i know that makes me sound like some love sick fool but, after all these years we've existed in one another's atmosphere's in a close vicinity that we feel it when the other's gone for too long.
