Good.

[Paige]

Not everyday a guy wakes up to the wife he didn't marry. You're not bad to wake up next to, until the married part came in. And the job I know I sure as hell can'tdidn't have part.

I'm going to agree with you on that.

Go -- Look, I get that this is awkward for the both of us but maybe we should just ignore the fact that in some messed up way we were hap I would never be that schmoopy in real life. Not that I

[Eliot]

Uh, thanks. You're not so bad yourself. The ... an experience. It was an experience. One that we should just put behind us and act like it never, ever happened. The job wasn't -- Not all FBI I think I lucked out in getting the cooler boss.

[Paige]

Right. Maybe those false memories will fade with time. Not every part of that was bad. I think you did too. She seemed pretty nice.

Maybe.

For For what it's worth which is probably going to make this a lot more awkward but ... you're a very good husband. To me. To her. To some version of me. She is She did She does.

I had some help. I'm not usually that...you know. You were a good wife.

Except for the couch thing.

Neither am I.

Of course you wouldn't see that in that way, but a good wife wouldn't just let her husband get away with missing off. Think of the couch as character-building.

They must've got a kick out of us.

Hey, not my fault I had a moment of clarity. That couch? I've slept in some uncomfortable places but that had to be one of the worst.

The Double Duo of Higher Being Destruction or everybody else?

Because having a moment of clarity while your wife someone is freaking out worrying being concerned about your injuries is the smartest move out there. The couch was pretty inevitable after that. But I have to admit, those were some pretty decent arguments that you threw at the door.

The first one. Not sure I want to know what other people we might know think.

It was a damn strong moment of clarity. Guess I can be thankful you didn't throw me out of the house. You're a tough negotiator.

You're guessing that Higher Beings have a sense of humor. The Senior Partners? They might. I'm not so sure about this world's PTB. I know for the most part, mine don't. A few of them? Not so bad but the rest of them, knowing how to relax, or any type of a joke, just goes right over their Higher Powered heads.

For once I'm kind of happy that I don't know that many people. Mocking of me will be pretty low on the scale, I think.

I like to think that I'm still open minded when I'm angry. For the most part. Besides, I wasn't that mad at you. Just really, really scared ... and then really, really freaked Why thank you. It comes with the territory of being stubborn.

My experience with higher beings is God, Allah, Buddah, whatever your choice of deity may be. Where I come from, we don't have the Powers That Be or Senior Partners. So when it comes to having a sense of humor, I don't know how these guys roll.

That'd make two of us. I'd never hear the end of it.

Yeah, you were mad. I guess I deserved some of it. But now, I'm good with being me again.
