Not once, but twice the new puppy Dante tried following him to the rondevu point where he was supposed to meet Helena. He supposed tonight he wasn't the only one being "trained". He figured that's why they agreed to let him out with the woman. So she would watch and train, but oh he would surprise her. Terry was all full of surprises-one of them being that he was never on time. Tonight was no different. "Stay." He said firmly as Dante looked up at him with pleading eyes. Terry almost melted. But it wasn't a field trip, it was work. There was no way he'd get any kind of respect if he showed up with a pup at his heels. What kind of hero brought a puppy to a fight? Dante lowered his ears and Terry almost caved, but instead he put on his mask. "Good boy." And the critter looked up contently as if he'd just won 'best in show'.
Terry had the glider with him, a rope at his side for that -just incase the glider fails, safety. And several other tricks up his sleeve. Hey he was batman after all. Tools were his best friend. The apple didn't fall far from the tree. Bruce liked his tools, and so did Terry. Of coarse they were nothing like his toys and tools. But they would do. He'd just have to get used to Batman old school...
As he finally arrived at the specified meet up point, he tried to figure out where to tuck away the glider. Where the hell Nightwing kept it stashed when he wasn't flying with it, and judging by the frustrated look on his face-he could already tell it was going to be a long night.
