Excuses were a stupid waste of time anyway. Terry's energy would be better spent preparing for a likely exhausting night ahead.
Surprisingly Terry didn't have a witty retort. Which was rare-as Helena was soon to discover, he liked to talk. It was part of his shtick. It threw the villains off guard, it got him the info he usually wanted. For him, it worked. He was a people person, which was a rare thing for a Batman. Of any generation.
For a moment he thought of bringing the glider with him, but then as he looked down at the city he winced. It was far down. If he didn't catch the right amount of air..that would be it. He'd be toast. He really didn't want to be toast on his first time back out. That would defeat the point of him agreeing to go out with Helena all together. This was his time to show her how good he actually was. Show her why he was made Batman.
"See that?" He caught the movement too. It was obvious that there was something happening inside. One thing about these wanna-be's was they were good at one thing; hiding. To anyone else watching with the naked eye it looked like nothing was happening. They were smooth, he'd give them credit for that.
"Whatever they're after, is already going down. " He was quiet as he watched. "There." He pointed to the roof in question. A sun roof partially open. They could easily get in there.
