It probably was going to be a long night, judging by the fact that Huntress had been waiting for Terry to show up for over a half an hour. She was getting a little worried, because if something happened to Terry on her watch, she'd never hear the end of it. Babs was depending on her to bring him home safe and sound, and she was going to do her best to do exactly that.
While she waited for him to show up, she took to watching a building across the street from the rooftop she was standing on; it was one of the spots Batgirl had seen some common street thugs wearing Joker masks. So far she hadn't seen any activity, but the night was still young; there was plenty more time for something to go down. She, however, doubted they'd see the Joker himself. He appeared to be keeping a low profile these days, which was strange in and of itself.
What was the clown up to, anyway? Part of her didn't want to know the answer to that.
Around 9:36 PM, she heard movement coming from behind her, which prompted her to turn to see who it was. After all, in this city (much like Gotham), you never know who'd be hopping rooftops at night.
Once she saw it was Terry (in the Nightwing suit, no less) she fixed him with narrowed eyes, but her posture relaxed some.
"You're late."
And he had brought the damned glider with him. It certainly looked like no matter what went down tonight--good or bad--she was going to be getting a earful from Babs when they got back to the tower. She had specifically said 'no glider.'
