The Rani wasn't in the best of moods, but then she rarely was these days. Her new regeneration was still bothering her, the pangs of feelings that kept taking her unawares made her sorely tempted to force a regeneration in the hope of going back to the Time Lady she'd once been, cold, purposeful, content.
She was busying herself with her work now, locking herself away in her lab trying to work out why planets were missing. Gallifrey was bad enough but at least knew why that was gone, she hated not knowing why things happened, any gap in her knowledge bothered her and she was determined to find out a reason, if only because the planets in question would have been helpful for her own experiments.
She was in the lab charting where the planets had disappeared when suddenly her TARDIS jaulted into movement, a few seconds later she felt it touch down on solid ground. Shaking her head in annoyance she strode out of the laboratory into the main console room, after a quick look in one of the monitors she moved out of the door and stood close to what was now a skip. Looked back at what her TARDIS had transformed into her lip curled in disgust, still at least it blended in. "Earth," she hissed, she'd know it anywhere. "Earth," she repeated, sounding angry.
Quickly she hurried back into her TARDIS with the plan to leave as soon as possible, she'd never liked Earth, it's inhabitants were stupid and slow and unambitious, she had no intention staying. Pressing a number of buttons and pulling a level nothing happened. "This is not happening," she muttered to herself. Taking a deep breath she readied herself to leave again, if her TARDIS was broken she supposed she'd have to go and find out a little more, see if she couldn't find something to do while she was stuck here.
